Enter the Bentall Centre Mall from the Burrard Skytrain Station or lobby of any tower, and follow signs to Bentall Two (BX2). The easiest access from the street is through
the lobby of Bentall Three (corner of Burrard and Dunsmuir), or Bentall One (corner of Burrard and Pender). Take the escalator down to the mall and follow signs to Bentall Two (BX2). Our clinic is directly under Joey Restaurant and next to Pharmasave.

Jacek Kobza received his Masters Degree in Physiotherapy from the School of Rehabilitation in Warsaw, Poland. In 2006 he was a recipient of the Clinical Contribution Award from the Physiotherapy Association of BC. He has over 25 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy with a focus on arthritis care. At the Mary Pack Arthritis Center of Vancouver General Hospital, he is actively involved in client treatment, student education and continuing education workshops. He co-founded Bentall Physiotherapy Clinic in 1995 with his wife Mariola Kobza.
Jacek’s special interests include rehabilitation after hip or knee replacements; management of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, ergonomics as well as injury recovery. His clinical decisions are based on physical assessment, evidence based intervention and the usage of diagnostic ultrasound. Jacek strongly believes in empowering his patients through education and using preventive techniques. To this end, he enjoys working with his clients in a gym setting: teaching them how to exercise safely and how to establish good postural or movement habits. Jacek has traveled both nationally and internationally (US, Scotland and Italy) to speak at conferences such as the American College of Rheumatology and the Canadian Rheumatology Symposium. Recently, Jacek has been advancing his clinical skills in Diagnostic Ultrasound by becoming certified through the Canadian Rhuematology Ultrasound Group at McMaster University.
When he is not working, attending conferences or workshops, Jacek enjoys kayaking or biking in Deep Cove and or playing beach volleyball with his kids.

Mariola Kobza
MPT, Registered Physiotherapist
Mariola graduated in 1990 from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland with a Masters degree in Motor Rehabilitation. She obtained her Canadian license in 1991 and co-founded Bentall Physiotherapy Clinic in 1995 with her husband Jacek Kobza.
Mariola’s passion for the profession stems from a deep interest in the power of movement and the ability for the human body to heal when properly directed. As a teenager with scoliosis (a curvature of the spine), she had the personal experience of amazing results working with physiotherapists, which helps to explain why one of her areas of specialty is posture. With a focus on prevention and early intervention, Mariola works with you to solve the mechanical “puzzle” of your pain or injury and get your body moving the way it should.
Mariola is constantly advancing her therapeutic skills by attending post graduate studies and courses. And by recognizing that every client is unique, she learns something from each of them as well.
